Senior Managing Director, Teneo Restructuring
Brent Williams is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo Restructuring. Mr. Williams has more than 21 years of experience advising companies and their stakeholders in distressed situations. He has advised clients across a broad range of industries both in and outside of the court process in the United States, Canada and Europe.
Prior to joining Teneo, Mr. Williams worked in the New York office as part of the Global Restructuring Advisory business unit of Duff & Phelps Securities, LLC. Mr. Williams joined Duff & Phelps with the merger of Chanin Capital Partners.
Prior to Duff & Phelps and Chanin Capital Partners, he was a Director at the New York office of Zolfo Cooper, LLC, where he developed and implemented financial and operational restructuring plans in turnaround and distressed situations, in addition to the preparation of debt and equity valuations of distressed companies.
Prior to Zolfo Cooper, Mr. Williams was a Vice President at a restructuring firm located in Ontario, and a senior manager at KPMG Inc., where he was responsible for planning and executing financial and operational restructurings, and receivership/bankruptcy engagements. Additionally, he was involved in the Corporate Finance Division of these companies, where he specialized in the area of divestitures.
Mr. Williams received his B.S. in business administration from Carleton University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and was a practicing Trustee in bankruptcy in Ontario.
